Back To Spread My Wings
I've been away for a while, but as usual I spring right back.
It's exciting to get the creative juices flowing again. I've missed music.
I've been working on my marketing though. And it's helped a lot mentally and spiritually.
I love little projects and seeing them to fruition.
Here's what I've been up to:
Angel Valenciano's Marketing Mastermind
My goal is to make an impact in this world, somehow, one step at a time.
Peace and Eternal Gratitude forever,
angeL.

The Road To Summer Solstice Starts Now!
The next leg of this mind bending journey starts with a show on March 24th at The Atria, in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada.
I will be playing electric bass guitar with THE Almighty BONEDEVIL, in celebration of their much anticipated sophmore record. The 7inch "smoke coloured" 45rpm vinyl will be released on Get Bent Records.

How To Get Along With Other Beings
- Recognize both differences and similarities between you and other being.
- Accept other being.
- Attempt to understand other being.
- Attempt to understand yourself.
- Dig yourself.
- Realize that to argue with another being is to argue with reality.
- Realize that to hate another being is to hate yourself.
Peace,
angeL.

Creativity Isn't Free
A woman asked Picasso to sketch something on a piece of paper.
He does, and says, “That will cost you $10,000”.
Astounded, she said, “You just took five minutes to do the sketch,” she said, “Isn’t $10,000 a lot for five minutes work.
He responded, “The sketch may have taken me five minutes, but the learning took me 30 years”.
Remember that time is money, creativity is money, education is money, expertise is money. The 10,000 hour concept says that in order to become an expert at something, you need 10,000 hours of deliberate practice.
If you’re asking an artist (one who could be regarded as an expert.. no auto-tune!) to do something for free, remember how much work they’ve done to get there and consider if it’s a fair exchange.

The First Law of The Funk
Expressing oneself freely and honestly, without obstruction, leads to freedom.
Here's a quick snippet that shows the first law in action. Enjoy!
